Biography
Born in Belluno in 1991, he graduated in Philosophy from the University of Trento. In the following years, he furthered his studies in writing and narratology. He has always been passionate about expressive languages, particularly literature, comics, video games, and animation. He currently lives in Florence. Eternally seduced by contradictions, he is suspended between idealist thought and the inconsolable materialism of Cormac McCarthy. He is inspired by the overflowing willpower of Miyazaki’s characters and influenced by Inoue’s drawing style. Fascinated by obstacles and thus by the epic of sport, he loves to jog on the shoreline between reality and imagination, like in a Satoshi Kon film. He is obsessed with the question of what it means, nowadays, to create a work that “matters” (or “counts”). Due giorni di buio (Two Days of Darkness) is his debut as a writer and artist.
