Biography
Luis Montes is a comic book author and concept artist from Granada, and the creator of the manga Gryphoon, currently being published in the magazine Planeta Manga.
Born in Granada, he studied at several design schools in the city and completed his training at the prestigious Joso School in Barcelona, where he has been teaching for the past four years. Over the last six years, he has worked as an illustrator for Nintendo on advertising campaigns for Zelda and Fire Emblem, as a concept artist for various animation productions and video game studios, and as a comic artist on several projects, including the graphic novel Diferente (Planeta).
He is currently publishing Gryphoon with Planeta Cómic, both in Planeta Manga magazine and as collected volumes. He has also released a light novel set in the same universe.
