
Biography
Matteo Bussola was born in Verona and is a writer, comic artist, illustrator, and screenwriter. He’s worked on arts and scripts for Aurea Editoriale, Star Comics, Sergio Bonelli Editore, Humanoïdes Associés, and Feltrinelli Comics. As a writer, he’s published many books, all bestsellers translated into several countries. Some of his most well-known works include: Notti in bianco, baci a colazione (Einaudi, 2016), which was also made into a movie, La vita fino a te (Einaudi, 2018), L’invenzione di noi due (Einaudi, 2020), which also became a movie, the illustrated book Viola e il Blu (Salani, 2021), Il rosmarino non capisce l’inverno (Einaudi, 2022), Mezzamela (Salani, 2023), and the recent La neve in fondo al mare (Einaudi, 2024). He’s always been a big fan of manga and anime, and since 2023, he’s been working on his new shōjo series Zeroventi (Einaudi Stile Libero Manga) with Emilio Pilliu.
