Biography
Arashi Demeco was born on February 17, 2007, in Bonn as the son of two artists. As a result, little Arashi grew up with a pen in his hand. He’s always liked comics, but when he came across Pokémon Volume 03, his fate was sealed! Arashi became a mangaka and has been putting his back to the test ever since.
Influenced by his father’s taste in ‘80s and ‘90s anime, his mother’s taste in music and influences he discovered on his own, he began drawing manga very early on. That’s why his biggest project to date, ASSURDO! Crawling on Heaven’s Door, can be best described as Dragon Ball and Dandadan meets Radiohead and Måneskin. Said manga was self-published as a single volume in 2025, followed by an ASSURDO! exhibition in collaboration with the artist collective freeters. In the same year, he joined the artist collective ON HIATUS. With his newest manga TOXIC MASQUERADE, a new chapter begins. Will his back survive? Stay tuned!
