Anniversary Celebrations at Manga-Comic-Con 2026
From March 19th to 22nd, 2026, we gathered again in Leipzig for the Manga-Comic-Con. This time, we had something very special to celebrate: the one-year anniversary of our European manga magazine, MANGA ISSHO!
To properly celebrate the anniversary and the release of the fifth issue, there was not only a special edition with a variant cover available for fans to purchase at the convention, but also, of course, many artists from Germany, Spain, Italy, and France were present and held signing sessions at the impressive MANGA ISSHO booth! The lively exchange with fans and the direct feedback on their stories in MANGA ISSHO was especially enjoyable for them.
As a special treat, we were able to surprise the manga artists with a special anniversary cake to celebrate MANGA ISSHO‘s first year together.
The stage also featured some creative elements: In a panel on the Black Sofa, the manga artists showcased their drawing skills and teamwork in a game of »Pictionary«. Two artists from each country competed and demonstrated their ability to perform under pressure. Later, Sozan Coskun, Ihabo, and Yu.Hi discussed their experiences as manga artists in another panel with Joachim Kaps.
